Associate of Science: Science (880), Biology Major
The Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Science with a Biology Major is a degree that allows students to design a curriculum that best prepares them for transfer as a Biology Major to a four year institution. The program consists of a number of general education electives that may be selected in consultation with an advisor or counselor to ensure they will be accepted at the four year institution they plan to attend.
Courses required for the Science degree with a major in Biology are predominantly available on all four campuses. BIO 206 or BIO256 are offered at select campuses in the Fall semesters, and BIO 270 is offered in the Spring semester.
